POSH UP YOUR PJ’S
I’ve become a real homebody cherishing my evenings snuggled up at home with the girls and my fur babies as I call them. They give the best cuddles! There is something so insanely lovely about finishing work albeit from home ….school run….your day and getting into your cosy clothes in the early evening.
Come 6pm I am ready to get into my pyjamas, even if I am still working- anyone feel like this? There is nothing better than the feel of a brand new pair of pyjamas. I adore Olivia von Halle, now the very pinnacle of luxury loungewear who has incidentally, just designed the Cabaret Collection exclusive to Harrods.
On the high street the River Island black feather cuff PJs are being seen all over instagram and I noticed they are still in stock. Grab your pair before they sell out! And if we all end up not going out as much as we normally do over Christmas and end up staying in and having a kitchen disco, well we then we need great feather PJs to dance around the kitchen in!!
Another favourite for exquisite nightwear has to be Flora Nikrooz. This beautiful collection ranging from soft, beautiful sleepwear to sensual lingerie, bedtime has never looked so elegant. I love to combine these styles with a favourite pair of slippers. Currently I am loving the Fluffy Jet Panther Slippers from Laines or my Not Just Pajama ones. For men I think the Donhall and Bell slippers are so luxurious and unique. He doesn’t know it yet but they are in his stocking for Christmas.
Once dressed for bed, I have to say that there is not much that rivals the crispness of new bespoke sheets such as those from Josephine Home. They are finished with their stunning signature grosgrain trim edging, to your exact colour specification. I’ve had mine monogrammed with LG.
Add to this fact a cosy cashmere blanket, cashmere socks and a perfectly scented candle which are fashions new favourite accessories. I have found the IRIS Organics candles to provide both incredible scents and that unique aesthetic look for any home . Being asthmatic, I Iove that this candle has what I call no nasties “no parabens” just beautiful essential oils.
Journal writing has become really popular again, I am currently using The Head Plan journal to actualise my plans for this coming year. It offers a guided journaling experience that both avid journal users and those that are new to journaling will really enjoy. It has weekly goal setting and reflection pages and much more to keep you inspired, motivated, focused and driven to stay on track of your own personal plan to get you where you truly belong.
